Job Descriptions
As the Dessert Café Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of the café, ensuring excellent service, efficient workflow, and achievement of sales targets. You will also be responsible for working as a bubble tea barista, hosting interactive bubble tea workshops, and driving sales strategies to increase revenue and profitability. This role requires leadership, passion for customer service, and a strong focus on achieving and exceeding sales goals.
1. *Café Operations*:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dessert café.
- Ensure a clean, well-organized, and welcoming environment for customers.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and handle vendor relations to ensure sufficient stock levels.
- Maintain quality control and consistency in all food and beverage items, including bubble tea offerings.
2. *Sales & Revenue Growth*:
- Implement sales strategies and initiatives to drive customer engagement and sales growth.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for increasing revenue.
- Propose and create promotions, upselling opportunities, and seasonal menu items to boost café sales.
- Manage customer loyalty programs and ensure effective customer retention strategies.
3. *Customer Service*:
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Address customer feedback and resolve any service issues promptly.
- Train and coach staff to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
4. *Bubble Tea Barista Work*:
- Prepare and serve high-quality bubble tea and other beverages according to standard recipes.
- Train staff in bubble tea preparation and ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Assist in developing new bubble tea flavors and concepts.
5. *Workshop Hosting*:
- Plan, organize, and host engaging bubble tea workshops for customers and corporate clients.
- Create a fun, interactive learning experience, teaching participants how to make their own bubble tea.
- Work with the marketing team to promote workshops and drive participation.
6. *Team Management*:
- Hire, train, and manage café staff, including baristas and service personnel.
- Schedule staff shifts and ensure optimal staffing levels for peak and off-peak hours.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and ensure continuous staff development.
7. *Financial Management*:
- Manage the café’s budget and control expenses to ensure profitability.
- Handle daily cash management and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Work with senior management on setting and reviewing financial targets.
8. *Health & Safety Compliance*:
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed in line with food and beverage safety standards.
- Regularly check equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness standards in the café.
Job Requirements
*Key Qualifications*:
- Proven experience as a Café Ops or Leader or similar role in the F&B industry.
- Strong knowledge of bubble tea preparation and café operations.
- Excellent sales and marketing skills with a focus on driving revenue.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Ability to host and engage customers in workshops or events.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
*Preferred Qualifications*:
- Barista or bubble tea experience is a plus.
- Experience in event or workshop hosting is highly desirable.
- Passion for the dessert and beverage industry.
