RESPONSIBILITIES
The job is to conduct research on the evaluation of pre-trained vision-language models' video understanding capabilities and the utilization of these pre-trained models for video question answering.
Candidate's core responsibilities are:
- Collect data through web crawling and/or crowdsourcing
- Implement baseline methods based on previous research papers
- Implement new methods to improve the performance of large language models
- Conduct experiments to empirically evaluate different methods
- Contribute to the preparation of manuscripts for publication
- Minimum PhD degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning
- Minimum 3 years of relevant research experience in video processing, analysis, and research
- Excellent knowledge in large-scale video processing and search
- Good knowledge and experience in system development and engineering
- Good skill in computer programming
- Good knowledge in dataset curation and preparation of dataset for deep learning
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as collaboratively in a team to research and engineer challenging problems
