Job Scope
- Interpret technical information (documents, drawings, and data) and analyse the manufacturing process elements.
- Create Bill of Materials structure.
- Create manufacturing Work Instructions and other process documents in collaboration with the Program Management, Production and Quality Assurance Teams.
- Carry out time studies and update the process cycle times.
- Provide timely technical support to the Production Team pertaining to manufacturing process and quality issues.
- Engage in DFM and Lean Line Design activities.
- Relentlessly explore, evaluate, and review new tools, equipment, processes, etc.
- Actively and continuously improve the work processes to improve work efficiency and quality.
- Work with Program Management, Production, and Quality Assurance Teams to identify potential process risks and make recommendations to mitigate these risks.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Manager and/or Engineering Lead.
Requirement
- Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical/Mechatronics, Manufacturing/Production, Industrial Engineering or relevant discipline
- 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing process engineering
- Possess experienced in the creation Bill of Materials structures will be an added advantage
