About the Client:
Our client is a reputed company in banking and financial domain.
Responsibilities:
- Designing / Solutioning / Provisioning of Application Infrastructure as per the Project needs.
- Application software (Including third party products) installations and upgrades
- Facilitate OS and Other Application Infrastructure Software patching
- To deliver new server setups/configurations & provision of various application environments
- To work with development team to understand the application requirements from software and infrastructure and suggest/deliver the suitable designs/procedures.
- To establish Interface connectivity with upstream/downstream systems & also address necessary connectivity requirements for the Business users.
- To work with development team to troubleshoot on any performance related issues and find solutions
- To be able to work with other infrastructure teams like administrators, DBA, Networks team to complete the tasks as per the schedules.
- To be able to plan, implement, monitor, report & deliver various key Project requirements
- To be able to co-ordinate/perform application DR testing –automation of DR scripts is mandatory
- To be able to work with team member, guiding junior staff and take responsibility for deliverables
- Drive/Deliver automation in the environment provisioning, health checks & upgrades
Requirement:
- Technology delivery skills to plan, implement, monitor & report the Infrastructure project requirements.
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in Middleware technologies (Weblogic, WebSphere, JBoss, OBIEE etc)
- In depth experience in Linux, Windows operating system
- Prior experience in Linux / Windows server Migrations.
- Sound knowledge on server hardware in VM and Physical server environments
- Proficient with Batch & Power Shell scripting
- Hands-on experience in the ORACLE /MS SQL Database maintenance.
- Experience in Performance tuning of queries.
- Good Knowledge on understanding the third-party vendor applications installations
- To be a quick learner - Gain working level knowledge in any new tools and technology as needed in Finance department
