We are searching for an Assistant Manager/Section Manager, Rostering! You will be part of the (Flight and Crew Rostering) team and will be the providing operational support to Crew Rostering. You will work closely with Crew Operations, Network Planning, IOCC, Cabin Services team, IT, HR, Flight Ops, Ground Operations to meet operational performance standard, crewing of all flights and non-flight duties, while adhering to regulatory requirements.
Job Description
Crew Planning Management
- Ensure that the crewing requirements for each aircraft type is met
- Ensure ANR Compliance in rostering
- Support inaugural flight crewing arrangements, liaising with appointed GHA where required
- Manage leave liability and administrate annual leave exercise.
- Ensure productivity and operational levels are consistently maintained
- Work with Training to support efficient planning of attendees;
- Work with SEP to plan and roster recurrent training classes;
- Ensure timely roster publication, and adherence to established FRMS guidelines;
- Ensure unit costs are minimized and efficiencies are increased wherever possible, both within and across departments. Key performance indicator is cabin crew flying hours, and on-time roster publication
- Provides direction to his/her direct reports, as well as coaching and development, in order to motivate and to keep the team continually engaged
- Support improvement/enhancement projects on rostering system
- Support charter flight crewing arrangements
Crew Operating Pattern (COPs)
- Work with Planning and Administrative Services to finalize the COPs for scheduled flights, inaugural flights and charters.
- Ensure that COPs are reviewed and revised if necessary due to ad-hoc / scheduled changes in a timely manner
- Coordinate with Travel Agency for airfare as well as apply crew visa, when required.
- Set up Crew Rostering system to capture required complement.
Operations Management
- Manage crew queries/feedback and ensure timely follow-up on issues raised.
- Update crew via CSC & Workplace post
Adherence to Regulatory Standards
- Ensures cabin crew rosters are compliant with the ANR and ANO, and also meet with other regulators’/legislated requirements.
- Required to liaise with civil aviation authorities, internal and external auditors, and assists in the preparation for such audits, as well as to implement corrective actions.
- Implementation of ANR rules changes in Crew Rostering System progressively
Others
- Support Crew briefing at induction and graduation
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
- Liaised with other system providers to set up rostering system requirement for test run review
- Investigate OR and updates AQD
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management / Business or any relevant discipline
- Minimum 8 years of working experience
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines on several projects
- Excellent communication skills and experience in working with people at all levels

- Computer literate, with thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and rostering systems
