T&C Engineer/
Senior Commissioning Engineer
The T&C Engineer/Commissioning Engineer is responsible for managing all testing and documentation for the project, ensuring quality delivery, and coordinating handover to the client and internal service department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:Manage all testing processes and documentation for the project.
Ensure quality delivery from project installations and coordinate handovers.
- Design Review:Review project designs to ensure operational feasibility.
Verify and evaluate the quality and performance of equipment/systems according to specifications before delivery to the client.
- Early Project Involvement:Engage in the early stages of projects to understand construction and Testing & Commissioning (T&C) requirements.
- Compliance:Ensure compliance with standards and engineering practices throughout the project.
Understand built plans (M&E), technical literature, and equipment manuals.
- Troubleshooting:Conduct equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and propose solutions.
- Reporting:Report work issues and non-compliances to the Project Management Office (PMO).
- Testing Activities:Conduct Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), Integrated System Tests (IST), Testing and Commissioning (T&C), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Support the project team with any technical issues related to testing procedures.
- Coordination:Work closely with the engineering team to understand design specifications.
Prepare T&C test sheets and documentation prior to inspections.
Schedule and coordinate all T&C activities, including attending equipment SAT testing and submitting site inspection reports.
Liaise with project T&C consultants on all matters and ensure reports are compiled and submitted after each inspection.
- Documentation:Compile, review, and submit all T&C Method of Statements (MOS) for consultant review and approval.
- Additional Duties:Perform any other duties assigned by the PMO.
