Commissioning Lead/Manager
The Commissioning Lead/Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing commissioning plans for large-scale greenfield data centers and retrofitting live data centers.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management:Execute and track commissioning plans and schedules across multiple facilities.
Communicate effectively with business operations and construction managers.
Liaise with internal construction managers and external contractors to plan and execute commissioning activities.
Maintain logs, checklists, and tools to monitor commissioning projects.
Track and update the project budget related to commissioning activities.
Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing.
- Customer Interface:Support senior management in customer interactions, serving as the point of contact when management is unavailable.
- Process Management:Adhere to all commissioning processes and meet schedules based on customer contract requirements.
- Reporting:Prepare commissioning test procedures and reports.
Write detailed reports with recommendations for optimising building operations, including functional checklists, lists of deficiencies, and equipment operation manuals.
Provide feedback to equipment vendors regarding project-based performance.
- Vendor Management:Track the progress of external resources.
Schedule and lead commissioning meetings.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of commissioning experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
