Responsibilities:
- Inspect building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical) regularly to ensure proper functioning.
- Perform repairs and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime.
- Monitor the performance of key systems and address potential problems proactively.
- Schedule and carry out preventive maintenance to avoid unexpected breakdowns.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general issues.
- Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Building Technician or similar role.
- Strong skills in maintaining electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety standards.
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours for emergencies.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
