The Role:
- Perform sensory evaluation, chemical and microbiological analysis on raw materials and products.
- Perform routine environmental hygiene tests
- Understand sampling plan and methods of sampling and carry out raw materials and products sampling according to sampling plan.
- Preparation of laboratory culture media and reagents.
- Preparation of samples upon request by customers and/or external lab testing purpose.
- To tabulate and record all testing results and data into the provided inspection form and master list.
- Maintain good housekeeping of the laboratory and equipment.
- Carry out routine inventory checks on laboratory consumables, media and reagents.
- Inform HOD on lab inventory status to purchase necessary items and equipment for analysis.
- Report to HOD if any non-conformances found on raw materials and products.
- To keep retained raw material and product samples according to production date for future reference in case any quality dispute from customers.
