As a Vascular Technologist, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Design and implement vascular technology services, ensuring proper allocation of space, optimization of workflows, and adequate staffing.
- Collaborate with clinical, allied health, and administrative teams to set up vascular technology services.
- Perform vascular assessments and pressure studies at the Vascular Diagnostic Centre.
- Facilitate patient care coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all clinical examinations.
- Mentor and guide junior staff to ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality benchmarks, and professional standards.
- Establish and maintain professional networks within and outside the organization.
- Comply with established clinical and service protocols.
- Manage assigned administrative responsibilities effectively.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Diagnostic Ultrasound, or a related healthcare field.
- At least 5-7 years of experience specializing in vascular ultrasound.
- Relevant experience in a medical or hospital setting is preferred.
- Certification in vascular ultrasound is highly preferred.
- Effective problem-solving, time management, and resource allocation skills.
