Key Responsibilities:
- Provide scientific and technical expertise to lead a research team to develop capabilities in ingredient fermentation
- Develop mechanistic understanding of the microbiology of fermentation
- Develop research proposals and seek research fundings
- Disseminate research findings through conference presentations and journal publications
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international research network
Job Requirements:
- Possess a PhD degree in microbiology, fermentation or relevant disciplines
- Excellent knowledge and experience in microbiology and food fermentation
- At least 5 year of independent research experience and leading a research team
- Strong supervisory skills
- Strong track record for securing research funding
- Excellent publication track record
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders at all levels
- Track record of strategic thinking capability with a outcomes-oriented mindset, able to translate vision into actionable plans and driving their execution
