The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Senior Research Fellow.
The Senior Research Fellow will contribute to advancing siRNA therapeutics research, focusing on scaffold design and preclinical evaluation. The role includes conducting studies and collaborating with a team to innovate and optimize protocols related to siRNA therapeutics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and evaluate siRNA scaffolds for activity, stability, specificity, and biosafety.
- Conduct studies in siRNA synthesis, internalization, knockdown assays, RISC loading, and protein expression.
- Develop and optimize protocols for siRNA-based cellular studies.
- Collaborate with senior scientists and PhD students to drive research and innovation.
Job Requirements:
- PhD in Biological Sciences, Bioengineering or relevant disciplines
- Demonstrated track record in biological and animal studies, innovation, and technology translation.
- Experience in siRNA-based research and preclinical evaluation.
