We are seeking a Research Engineer to join a university-level research centre collaborating with industry. Successful candidates will be involved in a project that is related to 3D Animation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement user interfaces for interactive 3D animation tools and systems.
- Build dynamic web applications using modern front-end frameworks.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end solutions with server-side logic.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for efficient communication between components.
- Contribute to database design, development, and optimization for project needs.
- Utilize containerization technologies like Docker for application deployment and scaling.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Vue.js or similar front-end frameworks.
- Familiarity with the Django back-end framework for server-side development.
- Strong knowledge of database design and optimization.
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Working knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and deliver high-quality code.
