Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to lead a small team in overseeing financial operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, and collaboration with external stakeholders, including auditors and tax consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of two to handle financial operations, including weekly payments, collections, and month-end/year-end closings.
  • Review and approve reconciliation schedules, journal entries, invoices, payment listings, cashflow analyses, and GST/VAT reports.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business planning.
  • Collaborate with various departments to resolve accounting-related issues efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Act as the liaison with external auditors, corporate secretaries, bankers, and tax consultants.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance internal controls and automate data workflows.
  • Support new processes and system implementation initiatives.
  • Coordinate with HR and other teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for finance and accounting-related queries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes, reporting standards, and GST/VAT regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors and tax consultants.
