Our client, a leading Oil & Gas trading company, is seeking to hire a Tanker/Shipping Operations Executive to join their shipping division
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle vessels’ operations and monitor and update vessels' movements.
- Assist with day-to-day chartering activities including fixing group period charted vessels
- Management of P/L and calculation of the interim port and demurrage for T/C
- Liaise with vessel(s) for smooth operations and voyage optimization
- Ensure a good understanding of market practice and charter party terms for managing the cost exposures.
- Maintain accurate record of Chartering activities.
- Responsible for the preparation and circulation of fixture notes.
- Confirmation of compatibility with the loading/ discharging port.
- Loading & Discharging operations and stowage planning
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in Maritime Studies or equivalent with a minimum 1 year of experience in Tanker Operation
- Commercially focused and flexible individual
- Strong team player, and able to work independently to deliver quality output.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
