Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Customer service/Export Logistics Coordinator to manage export shipments and related documentation. This is an exciting opportunity to work with global distributors and support efficient international supply chain operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Arrange export shipments for distributors/customers, including drop and export shipments from YASC.
- Prepare and handle commercial documentation, including invoices, delivery orders, and shipping documents, using in-house systems (RPMS).
- Coordinate shipment and cargo collection with the warehouse team.
- Prepare necessary shipment certificates such as SMF, COO, and COQ.
- Manage Letters of Credit and coordinate submission to banks.
- Liaise with external vendors, including freight forwarders, clearing houses, and delivery contractors.
- Process manual purchase orders and shipping instructions for vendors in Japan, America, Europe, China, Indonesia, Thailand, and India.
- Negotiate delivery rates and contracts to optimize costs and efficiency.
- Plan and monitor inbound shipments from overseas and local suppliers.
- Investigate claims regarding shortages, mis-supply, or defective parts with warehouse personnel.
- Track and monitor loading/unloading costs and prepare necessary reports.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Nitec or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in shipping or export logistics.
- Skills: Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
