Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and follow up on Oil Major Vetting Inspections, attend vessels for inspections, and ensure all deficiencies are documented and addressed.
- Conduct onboard navigation audits, report results, and follow up on any deficiencies.
- Assist in accident investigations, root cause analysis, and maintain involvement in the Emergency Response Team.
- Support vessels on operational issues (loading, discharging, tank cleaning, grade changes) in coordination with the OPS team.
- Implement and assist with the HSSEQ policies, conduct audits, and review safety-related reports from vessels.
Requirements:
- Diploma of Marine Engineering or it's equivalent
- At least 5 years related workng experience
- Experience in ship vetting, ship and terminal operations, and cargo changes/tank cleaning for IMO class 2 & 3 cargoes.
- Chief Officer’s certificate or Master’s license is an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, with a sense of responsibility, initiative, and willingness to travel.
