Technical Coordinator
• Plays a supporting role to the Technical Superintendent/Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of vessel maintenance, repair, and documentation.
Responsibilities
• Monitoring vessel certificates and maintaining electronic documents.
• Assisting in budget preparation, monitoring, and control for repair and maintenance.
• Supporting the quotation and requisition process for services and stores.
• Preparing technical specifications for dockings and other projects.
• Reviewing and following up on Planned Maintenance System (PMS) reports from vessels.
• Tracking and managing month-end reports from vessels.
• Performing ad-hoc duties assigned by the Technical Superintendent/Manager.
Requirement
- Diploma/ITE in Marine Engineering or a similar field (Maritime or engineering majors preferred).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work independently.
- Timely completion of tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Being a good team player.
