Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the formulation of schedules and datelines for design and date of submission.
- Check detailed design and drawings based on relevant codes and client specifications, while ensuring the most cost-efficient methods of design are used.
- Liaise and co-ordinate with Project Department to obtain relevant information for detailed design.
- Determine the conditions and study all pertaining data thoroughly and accurately for a design. Many different combinations of loadings are possible and the most probable combination of simultaneous load for an economical and safe design is selected.
- Control and issue all technical documents.
- Any ad hoc project assigned by Design Manager.
Min Qualifications / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with minimum 3 years relevant experience
Job Skills Required:
- Mechanical design of pressure vessels, heat exchangers & atmospheric storage tanks. Thermal design of heat exchangers is also a required skill.
- Familiar with international design codes such as ASME, British, Australian & European Codes, Tema, API650 & etc.
- Proficient in design software such as PVELite, NozzlePro, StaadPro & Autocad.
