1. Laboratory Management and Operations
- Oversee the management of the laboratory and supervise lab staff.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Enforce quality and customer service standards in all laboratory areas.
2. Cell Culture and Research
- Design and manage cell culture processes, including nurturing and culturing NK and stem cell lines.
- Troubleshoot issues related to cell lines and their performance.
- Prepare research data for analysis, publication, and presentations.
3. Collaboration and Liaison
- Coordinate with local and international cell laboratories for research collaborations.
- Provide expert insights into medical technology queries and findings.
4. Laboratory Procedures and Analysis
- Analyze blood cells using microscopic techniques and procedures.
- Perform and ensure accuracy through regular standardization, calibration, and internal quality control programs.
- Resolve discrepancies in specimen labeling, handling, or collection before conducting procedures.
5. Equipment Maintenance and Inventory
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment following manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting for equipment malfunctions and arrange for repairs as needed.
- Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies by monitoring stock levels and expediting orders.
6. Professional Development and Reporting
- Prepare detailed reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing laboratory findings.
- Enhance professional and technical knowledge through workshops, seminars, professional publications, and self-directed learning.
7. Safety and Compliance
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following SOPs, rules, and regulations.
- Adhere to infection control and hazardous waste policies to protect staff and patients.
- Keep accurate records and documentation while maintaining patient confidentiality.
8. Team Contribution
- Actively participate in team efforts and accomplish assigned tasks within the given deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing laboratory operations and cell cultures, particularly NK and stem cell lines.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, including blood cell analysis, equipment calibration, and quality control.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Excellent organizational and inventory management skills.
- Ability to analyze and present research findings effectively.
