Job Info:
- Salary: Basic up to $6000 + AWS + VB
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday (9am - 6pm)
- Location: Boon Lay
Job Scope:
- Oversee all purchasing activities across the company, including retail, food service, and branded distribution items.
- Optimize inventory management processes to minimize costs and boost organizational productivity.
- Curate a product mix that supports company's growth in food service and retail, enhancing competitiveness in the market.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while identifying and onboarding new vendors.
- Review procurement operations to identify opportunities for improving product quality and delivery timelines.
- Perform cost analysis and establish performance benchmarks for continuous improvement.
- Develop risk management strategies to address potential product shortages and mitigate losses.
- Lead and manage the purchasing team, delegating tasks to departments as needed.
- Collaborate with the legal department to ensure contracts and agreements are favorable and align with company objectives.
Requirements:
- At least 8–10 years in procurement, ideally in FMCG or food sourcing (meat/dairy experience preferred).
- Import knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive cost savings initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in SAP will be an added advantage.
