Job Scope:
- Assist in the design, analysis, and improvement of mechanical systems and components.
- Support assembly planning and execution, ensuring components meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly-related technical issues.
- Participate in testing and evaluation of products to ensure quality standards.
- Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation and reports.
- Help with research and development of new mechanical designs and prototypes.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of assembly tools and equipment.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, procurement).
- Suggest and implement improvements for assembly efficiency and product quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality control procedures.
- Provide day-to-day technical support to the assembly or production teams.
Requirements:
- Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of industrial automation, jigs and fixture design, FMEA, SPC, CAD, and machine design (preferred)
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Willing to travel when necessary
