We are hiring a Regulatory Reporting & Enhancement - VP level to join the team. This is will be a 12 months contractual role for a start.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review the end-to-end regulatory reporting process, from data sourcing to submission of returns and notifications.
- Establish regulatory reporting controls based on risk assessments to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with Finance and Actuarial teams to identify and mitigate key risks.
- Provide governance by challenging key risks and controls within Finance.
- Monitor the effectiveness of controls, execute assessments, and develop action plans for any issues.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
- Participate in coordinating audit activities and preparing regulatory initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 8 to 10 years of experience in Finance, Risk & Compliance, Actuarial, or Audit functions.
- Experience in regulatory reporting within the insurance industry preferred.
- Familiarity with IFRS 4 & 17 principles is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of SOX, audit, compliance, and risk requirements.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
