Part-Time Personal Assistant (Accounting/Finance Background)


Location: Work from Home (with ad hoc meetings in the town area)

Employment Type: Part-Time (1-2 days/week)

Salary: $1,500


Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Personal Assistant with a background in accounting or finance. This part-time role involves assisting with financial tasks such as GST filing, annual tax filing, and general administrative support. You will primarily work from home, with occasional meetings in the town area as needed.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file GST returns and annual tax filings.
  • Manage and organize financial documents, receipts, and invoices.
  • Assist with budgeting, cash flow management, and other financial tasks.
  • Coordinate ad hoc needs and private property matters, both virtual and in-person.
  • Attend occasional in-person meetings in the town area as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support, including organizing files and handling correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
  • Familiarity with GST filing, tax filing, and financial reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and tools.
