Responsibilities:
- Evaluating technical proposals based on specifications.
- Proposing and negotiating alternative materials with cost considerations.
- Sourcing and purchasing materials/services locally and internationally.
- Advising on supplier selection and purchase terms.
- Generating purchase orders and managing delivery timelines.
- Reviewing supplier performance in price, delivery, and quality.
- Assisting with vendor qualification, assessments, and due diligence.
- Preparing RFQs, bid evaluations, and maintaining supplier relationships.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Project, Commercial, QA/QC, etc.).
- Providing administrative support for procurement tasks and generating reports.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Purchasing Management/Supply Chain Management/Engineering or equivalent
- Sound knowledge of offshore material specifications and proven experiences in procuring piping & steel materials
