JD:
- Supervise & Coordinate project's day to day activities including installation and coordination with consultants, main contractors and subcontractors.
- Follow up project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems on time to ensure the project progress on time.
- Determines project schedule by studying project plans and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
- Guide, provide inputs and comments, for the drafter to prepare installation plan drawings, detailed drawings for mechanical parts like piping layout, piping isometric drawing, pipe supports, process and mechanical plan drawings.
- Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan & schedule changes; recommending actions.
- Check, confirm all safety documents and issue work permits to contractors in collaboration with site safety officers, work permit requirements will be trained.
- Assist project manager or procurement incharge in preparation of tender documentation, procurement specification and Bill of quantity.
- Attend the weekly and monthly project meetings to update the status and activity of the project.
- Prepares weekly or monthly project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.
- Manage and coordinate vendors and suppliers during commissioning and testing of the equipment and systems.
- Maintains site safe condition and clean working environment by enforcing internal procedures, rules and regulations.
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with state and company policy and regulations.
- Contributes to project team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Assist project manager in the preparation of project Capex, budget estimation and cost allocation.
- Conduct Toolbox meetings with safety officers onsite and maintain records.
- Procurement and sourcing of equipment and materials.
- Able to work with drafters to produce Piping drawings, installation drawings, details design.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or equivalent engineering education.
- More than 5 years experience working on site installation coordination and project supervision.
- Experience working at process/equipment construction site, plate installation, EPC, or equivalent.
- With experience in giving inputs in technical design and technical document preparations.
- With experience in piping installation, equipment installation, pipe routing.
- Ability to read, understand & demonstrate the P&ID and PFD drawings to site work.
- Proficient to read and understand engineering plan drawings like piping and pipe support plan, equipment layout mechanical installation plan.
