Responsibilities
- Analyze and identify security gaps in existing data centers and cloud infrastructures.
- Perform risk assessments to mitigate security risks in information systems and processes.
- Lead system security testing to ensure all security requirements are met before deployment.
- Collaborate with development and engineering teams to integrate security into the SDLC.
- Develop and maintain security policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Advise on security architecture and design to establish robust protection mechanisms.
- Manage vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.
- Design and deliver security training programs for employees and stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of emerging security threats and technologies, recommending necessary improvements.
- Assist in developing and implementing incident response plans and participate in investigations.
- Provide Systems Integrator (SI) expertise to manage day-1 deliverables.
- Draft comprehensive tender specifications for security projects (day-0 requirements).
- Apply hands-on experience with networking technologies to manage and troubleshoot network security solutions effectively.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in information security, including:
-Risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
-System security acceptance testing.
-Application of security-by-design principles.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent credentials.
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and the Cybersecurity Act of 2018.
- Proficient in security tools and technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection solutions, and Wazuh.
- Comprehensive understanding of technological architectures, including on-premises data centers and cloud environments.
- Experience in explaining complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with networking technologies, including troubleshooting, configuration, and securing network infrastructure.
- Experience with tender documentation and specifications.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management and incident response planning.
