Our client is a FMCG Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Logistics Supervisor to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient delivery routes for B2B operations.
- Use Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to plan routes, assign deliveries, and track progress.
- Monitor driver performance and compliance with delivery schedules.
- Manage delivery exceptions and promptly resolve customer issues.
- Provide guidance and support to drivers regarding routes, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Address driver concerns, manage performance, and ensure high operational standards.
- Enforce adherence to safety regulations and standards for B2B deliveries.
- Conduct regular vehicle safety checks and monitor maintenance schedules.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication on delivery schedules and performance metrics.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, route efficiency, and driver performance.
- Identify and implement improvement strategies to optimize delivery operations.
