Contract Details:
Base Year: 2 January 2025 - 24 October 2025 (or after LOA issuance, whichever is later)
Option Year: 2 January 2026 - 23 October 2026 (or after LOA issuance, whichever is later)
Option to Extend: Up to 10 months at the school’s discretion.
Working Hours:
- Mondays to Fridays: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
- Non-Working Days: Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays, and school holidays in November and December. The following specific days are also non-working:Eve of Chinese New Year
Youth Day
Eve of Teachers’ Day and Teachers’ Day
Eve of National Day
Thanksgiving and Award Presentation Ceremony (TAPC)
First three weeks of June school holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Class Preparation:
- Assist teachers in preparing crockery, utensils, and ingredients for cookery classes.
- Distribute crockery, utensils, and ingredients to students during cookery lessons.
- Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Clean all equipment, crockery, and utensils used during cookery lessons.
- Ensure that all cleaned items are properly stored at the end of each workday.
- Maintain cleanliness of table-tops, floors, and the cooking area after each lesson and at the end of the day.
- General Support:
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Subject Head (SH) or Head of Department (HOD).
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Educational Requirements:Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level qualification (able to read, write, and understand simple English).
- Technical Certifications:Valid WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 (or higher) certification (proof of certification required).
- Work Experience:At least 1 year of relevant experience in food handling or a similar role (employment history required).
