This advertisement is recruiting for the position of Operation Support Officer.
If successfully selected, you will be seconded to MOE JC located in Sorby Adams Drive.
Contract Period: from 1 Feb 2025 to 31 Jan 2026.
Option to Extend: from 1 Feb 2026 to 31 Jan 2027.
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break
- Fridays: 7:00am to 4.00pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
The service required are set out as follows :
Cleaning and tidying of college areas:
- General Office.
- HOD Room
- Staff Room
- Meeting Rooms
- Staff Pantries
- Lift Lobby
- Toilets
Hostel:
- To escort contractor (ad-hoc or term) to respective locations for repair and maintenance
- To check for any common area defects
- To carry out gardening works, Eg. water potted plants
- To carry out cleaning works for rooms, including preparing bed linens for new ad-hoc check-in
- To carry out cleaning works for common area, Eg. wet area, lift lobby, office, meeting room, toilet, empty recycle bins (NEA blu boxes) etc
- To store keep the luggage room, such as bed linens, tools and spare parts for ad-hoc repairs
- General maintenance such as changing of filter for air purifier, maintenance and replacement of vacuum cleaner bags etc
Any other duties as assigned by Officer-in-charge
The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Ability to understand basic English instructions and communicate in English
- Preferably 2 years’ experience in cleaning and general maintenance work
