Technician (Heavy Vehicle)
Location: Tuas (West)
Working Hours: 5.25 Days Work Week (Mon-Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm), Alternate Saturdays (8.30am to 12.30pm)
Remuneration Package:
- Basic Up to S$ 3,800
- AWS
- Performance Bonus
- OT Allowance Payable
Responsibilities:
- To perform all basic troubleshooting and basic diagnostics
- To carry out Service Maintenance on the trucks including
- To ensure Utilization, Efficiency and Productivity is achieved
- To record repair time and detail of repair in the Work Order
- Adhere to Warranty Process and Procedures
- Ensure good housekeeping of work bay
- Accountable for all tools and equipment handling and usage
- Ethical compliance of genuine parts replacement and service rendered according to the checklist and scope of works
- Ensure all service and repairs are performed thoroughly and in accordance to good quality practice
- Lead by example to ensure high level of Health & Safety performance within the area of responsibility.
- To attend to breakdown where necessary
- Any other duties assigned by immediate superior
Requirements:
- At least a Certificate or NITEC in Automotive Technology
- Preferably possess a valid Class 3 / 4 / 5 driving license (Singapore)
- Preferably at least 2 to 4 years of working experience in servicing and repairing heavy trucks
- Basic knowledge in vehicle Principles and Concepts
- Good knowledge in advanced engine, transmission and brake systems
- Ability to read vehicle electrical circuit diagrams
