Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and assess the performance of airfreight carriers to ensure high service quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with airlines and logistics service providers to negotiate favorable rates and uphold service standards.
- Lead the carrier engagement and procurement process, including conducting RFQ bidding with carriers to secure the best pricing and space for cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Innovation and Operations) to develop cost-effective air product solutions for potential clients and streamline procurement processes aligned with business objectives.
- Implement air procurement strategies to maximize revenue by enhancing air product solutions.
- Oversee contract administration, including rate negotiations, service commitments, and performance metrics.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and key airline/logistics service provider partners.
- Stay updated on air logistics market trends and provide insights and recommendations to the management team to optimize airfreight sourcing strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with major in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of related working experience in Global Logistics Company or Airline/ Air Freight industry.
- Deep understanding of Air spot rate and Supply Chain Management.
- Good in negotiating with airlines and logistics service providers.
- Well versed in international air cargo regulations, including customs, security, and environmental standards.
- Proven track record in Air cargo sales experience- B2B Sales and Marketing.
- Established good connection with Airlines/ Carriers and/or other co-loaders.
