JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage the full event lifecycle, from initial concept development to execution. This includes creating event budgets, selecting venues, and managing suppliers
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and translating them into successful event plans. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
- Oversee event logistics, including seating arrangements, catering, transportation, and on-site coordination to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Develop creative themes and designs for events that align with the client's brand and objectives. Coordinate decor, entertainment, and other aesthetic elements to enhance the event experience
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, such as caterers, decorators, and suppliers, to obtain the best value and quality for events
- Monitor event expenses, track costs, and ensure that events are executed within the allocated budget
- Assist in promoting events through social media, email invitations, and other marketing channels. Maintain a database of contacts and potential clients
- Handle any challenges that arise during the planning and execution stages, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and attendees
- Conduct post-event evaluations with clients to assess the success of the event, gather feedback, and use insights for future events
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, attending relevant conferences and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Diploma and above
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage complex event logistics
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and last-minute adjustments in event plans
