Responsibilities
· Install & Configure OCP clusters with HA.
· Install & Configure SAS Viya, Enable Devops pipelines for Product installation.
· Customizing SAS Core components as per bank requirements, preparing manifestation files, ensuring deployments across the environments using CI/CD pipeline.
· Worked closely with SAS vendor for upgrades and SAS developments ensured timely deliverables.
· Worked with developers and IT staff to oversee code releases, combining understanding of both engineering and coding. From creating and implementing systems software to analysing data to improve existing ones. Played a essential role in integrating the project functions and resources across the product life cycle, right from planning, building, testing, and deployment to support
· Implemented a continuous build-test-deployment (CI/CD) system with multiple component pipelines using Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket to support weekly releases and out-of-cycle releases based on business needs.
· Experience in setup of K8S/Openshift clusters for multiple teams/applications including resource management, networking, auto scaling properties and all other services of Kubernetes.
· Kubernetes persistent volume dynamic provisioning using storage classes in clusters for NFS/BLOCK.
· Configured k8s clusters with proper node specifications based on resource and capacity, proper labelling there by setting limits which will have better performance.
· Troubleshooted issues with k8s clusters with respect to both control plane components including etcd and worker nodes.
· Provided isolation between applications and streams using k8s namespaces, RBAC roles, and service accounts.
· Developed and managed workloads using different controllers like Deployments, Replica Set, Daemon Set, Stateful Set, Job, etc.
· Created K8S Service to expose the pods using Node Port, Cluster IP and Load balancer, both HTTP and secured TLS applications.
· Experienced and working helm charts with K8S and OpenShift.
· Maintained Web applications using Java Servlets, JSP, HTML, JavaScript &CSS
· Developed struts Action and Form Classes, which will validate the input forms (Form Beans populated by JSP pages) based on the business logic
· Was responsible for coding server-side programs in Java Servlets, Acton class, Form Bean class and developing View Components using JSP's, deployed in Tomcat server.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
