Overview
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Application Consultant to take on a leading role in delivering complex business solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for leading application implementation projects, managing client relationships, and providing high-level technical guidance. As a Senior Application Consultant, you will mentor junior consultants, ensure successful project delivery, and maintain a focus on the client’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Interaction: Lead client meetings to gather business requirements and present application solutions tailored to client needs.
- Solution Design: Design, configure, and customize business applications to meet client requirements, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Project Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of application implementations, from planning and design to deployment and support.
- Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentoring to junior consultants, assisting them with problem-solving and complex tasks.
- Troubleshooting and Optimization: Address advanced application issues, providing solutions to optimize application performance and usability.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the client, business analysts, and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Training and Knowledge Transfer: Lead client training sessions and develop comprehensive training materials and user guides.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement of consulting methodologies and best practices.
- Reporting and Documentation: Create detailed project documentation, progress reports, and post-implementation reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in application consulting, implementation, or system integration.
- Extensive experience with enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, etc.) and system integration.
- Strong knowledge of databases, SQL, and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Proven experience in leading projects and teams.
- Excellent client management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
