Responsibilities
• Engage product owners to groom user stories
• Profile, cleanse and classify data
• Design and develop data pipeline that ingest data from various sources.
• Act as a software detective, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
• Expected to perform independently and become an SME, actively participate in team discussions, and contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.
• Develop innovative strategies to improve application support processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
Requirements
• Diploma or greater in Computer Science or related areas or equivalent practical experience
• Hand-on experience working on RDBMS, such as Oracle, DB2, MS SQL or PostgreSQL
• Database Design and Data Modelling (Logical and Physical)
• Experience in using ETL tools such as SAS DI, Informatica or Talend
• Experience with data streaming technologies like Kafka and Spark is a plus
• Experience with data visualisation such as Qlik, Tableau or Power BI is a plus
• Self-motivated and driven learner who is willing to share knowledge with the team
