Job Summary
You will be working with our client in the financial industry. As an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, you will lead the data centre migration project. You will oversee the end to end deliverables including datacentre setup and application migration tracking
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee procurement processes, maintain up-to-date RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs, and ensure timely escalation of critical matters to appropriate management levels for swift resolution.
- Lead and participate in Project Steering Committee (PSC) meetings, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and key decisions
- Collaborate with internal teams, government stakeholders, and vendors to comply for governance processes
- Maintaining project documentation and providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with government regulations and security standards
- Ensure overall success of a project, or a portfolio of projects, by ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, meet business requirements and comply with governance framework, including security and resiliency.
- Manage and monitor project plan, project milestones, risk and change management to ensure delivery of the project on schedule, within scope and budget.
- Plan and manage the scope of the project, its objectives and desired outcomes, and ensure alignment of project to the business outcomes..
- Lead the development of the overall project schedule & activities based on the appropriate methodology including identifying dependency, critical path, milestones and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Project management. With specialisation in managing large scale IT projects, preferably datacentre and cloud setup and migration
- Certifications in Project management and experience in Agile methodologies
- Sound knowledge in IT Infrastructure (Compute, Network, Storage & cyber security) to drive the projects
- Experience in disaster recovery and business continuity
- Knowledge of value stream mapping and process improvement techniques
- Possess a proven and successful track record in delivering complex IT projects/programs.
