Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning, execution, and delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project milestones and objectives.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project progression.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to safety standards.
- Prepare and present project reports, updates, and documentation to management and stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure that all engineering work is performed in accordance with the company’s quality assurance policies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineer Board (PEB) or Building Construction Authority (BCA).
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant local experience in civil engineering projects, particularly in infrastructure, sewer & drainage, and roadworks.
- Certifications: Possession of Resident Engineer (RE) or Resident Technical Officer (RTO) certification is preferred.
- Project Exposure: Experience working on LTA or PUB projects is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
