Responsibilities:
- Attend vessels to conduct ship vetting/marine inspections
- Ensuring all noted deficiencies are recorded and filed
- Monitor vessel operations, including loading, discharging and tank cleaning
- Assist in investigating and analyzing accidents, marine casualties, and near misses
- Maintaining and updating the ASL HSSEQ Management System
- Establish annual ISM & ISPS audit plans, participate in audits
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering or its equivalent
- At least 8 years of experience in sailing/maritime industry
- Experienced in chemical tank, cargo changes and tank cleaning
- Familiar with international and local maritime regulations and requirements
- Certified in Chief Officer’s certification or Master’s license will be an advantages
