Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer
Job Responsibilities
Participate in cyber and IT security compliance for new and existing systems, collaborating with business units to ensure necessary controls are implemented.
Support cybersecurity project activities for infrastructure systems.
Respond to first-level security alerts from the Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP).
Manage incidents by working with relevant vendors to restore infrastructure services with minimal downtime for users.
Continuously monitor cyber alerts and identify security vulnerabilities in the staging/production environments.
Respond to phishing alerts reported by staff members.
Identify and escalate risks following standard operating procedures.
Perform other ad-hoc duties9, including IT administrative tasks.
Key Capabilities and Skills Required:
Basic understanding of networking systems, security vulnerabilities, exploits, and attacks.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability and willingness to communicate effectively and appropriately.
