The Opportunity

· It is an opportunity for an experienced Valuation Controller to join their team
· Starts off as a 12 months contract
The Job
· Work closely within VCG, Rates and PC team on rates sourcing process (end-to-end from source to distribution)
· Assist VCG & Rates team for daily BAUs including rate configurations and resolving rate exceptions/investigations
· Perform trending analysis of key market data drivers giving more insights to daily movement.
· Assist with testing of projects and initiatives in rates automation & enhancements across VCG and Rates team, as well as tracking and following up on the status of the various initiatives
· Responsible for delivery of end of day market data for EOD valuation for an asset class
The Talent
· Minimally 2-4 years of relevant experience
· Deep knowledge of main financial products
· Understanding of interest rates, fixed income, derivatives, and valuation processes.
· Clear, structured communication and interpersonal skills
· Willingness to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
· Strong analytical, quantitative skills and proficient user of Excel
