Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by contacting potential customers, decision-makers, and target accounts, and analyse market strategies to evaluate options.
- Develop persuasive pitches and collaborate with regional and global teams to secure deals, build pipelines, and progress sales opportunities to closure while maintaining accurate CRM data.
- Cultivate relationships with end customers, influencers, and contractors through direct engagement or distribution partners, ensuring long-term collaboration.
- Set budget forecasts and sales volume targets for the SEA Data Centre market and guide distributors on pricing and quotation strategies.
- Promote the company at trade events, prepare technical papers, and provide marketing and technical support to distribution partners.
- Analyse sales and market data for management decision-making and monitor industry standards and power system solutions to maintain technical expertise.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of sales experience in the power generation business.
- Proven track record in direct and channel sales, with strong presentation and negotiation skills for engaging senior executives.
- Results-oriented and highly motivated, with strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Solid technical knowledge of power generation products and solutions, particularly for Data Centre applications, with familiarity in industry standards.
- Willing to travel frequently and work independently in a competitive environment.
- Bilingual in MANDARIN & English to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers.
