Job Scope:
Production Planner
• Ensure production schedules meet delivery deadlines.
• Plan material needs based on production schedules and maintain proper inventory levels.
• Track production progress and shipment updates.
• Coordinate with departments like Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Logistics for delivery plans.
• Prepare costings and provide RFQs (Request for Quotations) to customers.
Buyer
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) or Request for Quotations (RFQs) to suppliers
• Coordinate with local and overseas suppliers on purchasing issues and track shipments.
• Manage procurement, logistics, and production planning tasks.
• Ensure procurement is cost-effective, high-quality, and delivered on time.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and timely deliveries.
• Maintain stock levels to meet production needs.
• Review and improve purchasing processes regularly.
Job Requirements:
• Diploma in Manufacturing/Production/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Candidate with relevant working experience in Electronic Manufacturing as production planner/purchasing role is encouraged to apply.
• Team player with supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills.
