Responsibilities
Tender Management:
- Oversee the preparation of tender and contract documents, including Bills of Quantities (BQ).
- Lead and review the costing, cost planning, and estimation process for tenders.
- Manage and support multiple M&E tender projects concurrently.
- Chair pre-tender meetings and allocate duties to team members during tender preparation.
Design Oversight:
- Supervise the preparation of preliminary design drawings and design calculations.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Cost Control and Budgeting:
- Review and approve budgets for M&E works to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
- Analyze and mitigate risks related to project cost control and budget adherence.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Mentor and develop team members, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Promote a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Client and Stakeholder Coordination:
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients and internal departments.
- Address and resolve design and tender-related queries promptly and effectively.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensure tenders and related documents are well-prepared, compliant, and submitted on time.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all tender activities.
Ad Hoc Duties:
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
Requirements :
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Familiar with tendering, project cost control in M&E works
- Possess effective organizational and follow-up skills, meticulous
- Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner
