Responsibilities :
- Attend onboard for maintenance/ inspection/ repair/ troubleshooting/ modification
- Manage field activities and schedule
- Resolve malfunctions
- Oversee repairs and technical improvements
- Install new systems and technology
- Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment
- Supervise and direct technicians/engineers onsite
- Making service report with details of job progress, Working/Traveling time, technical advice and recommendation if any
- Report and share job progress to the superior
- Provide technical support & training for customers, service agents and internal teams
- Arranging necessary parts & drawings and send to agent
- Maintain tools in good conditions for safety and high-quality service
- Making manuals / support documents in order to share experiences with other engineers
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
- Review Maintenance list & service report for sales support
- Cover all of Technician responsibilities
- Any ad-hoc duties by assigned
Requirements :
- At least 2 years of Marine Service Engineer experience
- Able to work on sudden occasions (weekends, holidays, etc)
- Able to travel frequently
- Able to adopt on changing work environment
- Eager to learn and acquire skills for new products, system, tasks.
- High sense of work ethic
- Able to handle customer technical support via email, call or messenger services
- Able to work with multidisciplinary team
- Able to handle situations in dealing with customers
- Proficient with the use business PC or laptop, well familiar with Microsoft Office applications (such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Teams)
[Advantage]
- Experience in side thruster.
- Possess knowledge in Marine Engine" Electrical/ Mechanical/ Hydraulic/Pneumatic would be advantageous
- Possess Class 3 Driving License
