Responsibilities
- Assist in speech, language and/or swallowing difficulties following stroke, degenerative neurological diseases
- Assess patients’ conditions, plan therapy intervention and work towards achieving the therapy goals
- Provide interventions and evaluate therapy progress and outcomes
- Communicate assessment results, intervention plan and outcome measures
- Prescribe assistive devices and equipment according to patients’ needs
- Empower patients and caregiver by providing education on self-management strategies
Requirements
- Minimum a recognised degree in speech therapy
- Full Registration with AHPC
- Preferably with 1 - 2 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience in pediatric will be ideal
