Our client is a precision engineering manufacturer with strong presence in APAC region. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Cost Analyst to be part of their FP&A team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the North Area - easily accessible.
Responsibility Cost Analyst:
- Analyze product costs, including materials, labor, and overhead, to ensure accurate cost structures.
- Conduct variance analysis and improve cost allocation accuracy using the ERP system.
- Develop and maintain standardized costing methodologies across all sites.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams to gather data for cost analysis.
- Support FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and pricing strategies.
- Prepare cost reports and provide insights to guide decision-making and profitability.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve costing processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and assist with audits related to product costs.
Requirements:
- Min Degree in Finance / Accountancy or any related field
- Minimum 3 - 5 years analysis experience in product costing from manufacturing or similar setting
