Responsibilities :
- Assists Bank Staff PIC to lead and manage HO System related Upgrade Project effectively with HO System PIC and other stakeholders.
- Candidate should be familiar with ITSM, should be able to handle daily incidents and problems by engaging respective stakeholder.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking the progress of project activities and BAU activities under the Bank.
- Develop and manage project and BAU activities plans including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather system requirements, business requirements and BAU requirements.
- Lead project and BAU tasks, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring progress to ensure project milestones and BAU timelines are met.
- Identify and mitigate project and BAU activity risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize disruptions to project/BAU timelines and objectives.
- Prepare regular status reports and presentations for project or BAU stakeholders, communicating project and BAU progress, risks and issues.
- Coordinate and facilitate project/BAU-related meetings, including project kick-off meetings, status update meetings, and requirement discussion meetings.
- Prepare some documents for quality check process including review sheets to ensure all necessary documents are prepared and met quality standard.
- Perform BAU activities on behalf of Bank Staff PIC with the support from Bank Staff PIC.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements :
- At least 5 years of experience of IT project management as a PM or PMO.
- Proficiency in Japanese, with excellent oral and written communication skills, to ensure effective collaboration with Japanese-speaking counterparts.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with colleagues and create a team spirit
- Analytical skills, able to articulate even the complex issues in the simple manner.
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to effectively priorities tasks.
- Experience of IT project management as a PM or PMO, preferably within a bank.
- Knowing Japanese Bank culture is really a plus.
- Experience in Software development or delivery team is a plus.
- Deep understanding of banking operations especially for Core Banking operations is a plus.
