Responsibilities:
- To ensure daily smooth operations for warehouse and diesel and resolve any arising issue
- To manage overall diesel inventory, such as trucks and stations etc, weekly/ad-hoc ordering for adblue and diesel and ensure availability at all times
- To liaise with buyer/supplier/project sites for diesel operations issues, including diesel supply
- To liaise with SCDF and related parties for inspection and licensing matters and ensure diesel license are up-to-date and renewed promptly
- To plan daily road routes for diesel drivers and perform daily submission of Hazardous Material Transportation notification to SCDF
- To ensure all vehicles and equipment have proper maintenance, service regularly, certified and safe to use
- To ensure inventory accuracy, proper goods movement record, stock reconciliation, First in First Out (FIFO) system is in place and highlight discrepancy if any
- To plan and optimize storage capacity for inventory and replenished in timely manner
- To propose cost savings ideas and improvement to process and ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations
- To be involved in manpower planning and deployment & guide / lead new staffs and workers
- To lead the annual stock-take activity and cycle count and organize/conduct toolbox meeting
- Ensure safety practices and housekeeping is to maintained to the highest standard
- Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned
Requirements
- Certificate / Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Computer skills and Microsoft Office
- Location in Sungei Kadut Workshop until the workshop in Jalan Papan is ready
