Key Responsibilities:
- Innovation & Exploration: Lead GenAI innovation initiatives, stay updated on generative AI advancements, and contribute to Proof-of-Concept projects.
- Democratization of GenAI: Drive the adoption of GenAI across the organization and establish standards to ensure quality and consistency.
- Center of Excellence: Support building the GenAI CoE, mentor teams, and enable business units to leverage GenAI effectively.
- AI Design & Development: Design, implement, and maintain generative AI and machine learning models, manage AI/ML Ops, and oversee vendor delivery.
- Model Optimization: Optimize generative models for performance and experiment with advanced algorithms (e.g., GANs, LLM merging).
- Data Analysis: Analyze and pre-process datasets across various modalities (text, image, audio, video) to enhance AI models.
- Deployment & Integration: Deploy generative models into production and collaborate with software engineers for seamless integration.
- AI Expertise: Stay abreast of AI advancements and contribute to cutting-edge GenAI projects.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, AI/ML Engineering, or related fields.
- Extensive years of experience in data engineering/analytics, including 5+ years in AI/ML with a focus on Generative AI.
- Expertise in programming (Python, Rust, SQL), generative AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI), and ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong skills in data pre-processing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Proficiency in fine-tuning open-source LLMs (e.g., Llama 2) and developing LLM-based RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation).
- Familiarity with cloud AI platforms (Azure preferred), multimodal language models, and embedding pipelines.
- Experience in Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence), and converting business requirements into end-to-end AI solutions.
